The day I stopped seeking constant approval, I began to truly grow. Moving out, traveling solo, making decisions against the norm – these were not acts of rebellion, but milestones of personal growth.
It’s about respecting our parents and valuing their advice, yet daring to make our own choices.
True respect isn’t in perpetual compliance; it’s in understanding and being understood.
Each decision I made, whether celebrated or fraught with lessons, was a step towards being my own person.
This journey isn’t about defiance; it’s about breaking free from the fear of disapproval and living a life that’s authentically mine.
I share this piece of my truth with you. Maybe it sparks something in you, maybe it doesn’t. But remember, breaking free is challenging, yet it paves the way to living your truth.
