Twenty-five years after ‘Varsity Blues,’ she is donning leopard print and bell-bottoms as Angela Norris, the wife of Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris in Taylor Sheridan’s #Landman. She auditioned three times, screen-testing against 10 other women to finally earn the role.
“It’s very rare that you get to a place in your career [in Hollywood] where you get the pick of the litter, and you get to make any movie you want,” she says. “I’m a working actress; I feel incredibly lucky that I get to continue to do something that I love.”
