I’ve noticed it comes in cycles for me. Every 3 months like clockwork everything feels hard and sticky.
If you’re a woman in business, chances are you GET THIS.
🔥 So here’s what I do when the burn down urge comes on strong
➡️ I read my fantasy books (this time it’s ACOTAR and my LORDT those books are medicine… who knew smutty fantasy was a tonic). Stepping into new worlds makes me feel more aligned to my own offerings and purpose somehow.
➡️ I get out of my office and hang with my girls in the same boat as me. We vent. Listen to music. Get drive thru. Change the channel. Sometimes I make content and get new inspiration for content creation by living my life.
➡️ I let the PMS wind down and then make clear headed decisions. After, I decide how I can create new systems that support the impact and clarity of my business.
➡️ I step away from work and find inspiration again. I take a break from social media. I tap back into the purpose behind a magnetic business. I focus less on visibility and more on storytelling behind the scenes. I let the algorithm disappear from my mind and focus on how much I have already done rather than what I haven’t accomplished yet.
Organic growth is hard. Keeping engagement in your business is hard. Monetizing your offerings are hard.
If it was easy, everyone would do it 🤷♀️
