Zouri presents the third instalment of its Poems of the Sea series. After the ambassadors of the sea: Joana Seixas and João Reis, the invitation was extended to the activist, actress and friend of the oceans: Ana Varela!
We’ve always been in tune with each other and this journey began with inspiration, and so a new life was born for a well-known poem by Walt Whitman, now with new shapes and colours, a journey of sensations and reunions with the ocean, hope hand in hand with purpose. The beauty of a piece that aims to inspire and praise art in order to raise awareness of the environment and human and animal rights.
We invite you to see and listen to this piece of activism and poetry, a fragment of the sea translated by Ana Varela’s voice and feeling, with beautiful direction by Andréia Silva and original music by Daniel Rosado .
