Andreja Pejić Instagram – Oscar- a ballet based one the life of Oscar Wilde by Christopher Wheeldon. Composed by Joby Talbot. A tender, sensitive and romantic show about the mother of all mothers. Few people know that Oscar Wilde wrote “The Soul Of Man Under Socialism” and that this was not a small factor in his tragic persecution. I had a lovely time and I was particularly moved by the reading of the above poem written by Lord Alfred Douglas, Wilde’s lover, after his death.
