Anna Akana Instagram – Watching people do cool things online has inspired so much of what I do. Seeing @ijustine wield a sword inspired me to pick one up, watching @yulin.kuang skate on the ice made me hit the rink, and looking at how @kingbach helps the community in a time of need makes me leave the house.
I have been seeing my neighbors exit their homes with clothes, food, supplies. I have watched Los Angeles come together in tragedy, share information & offer help where it is needed. It is going to take a long time for us to rebuild but I look left & right and see everyone acting from their hearts and it makes me think maybe humanity isn’t doomed after all
