a small fishing village called sambranikkodi on the banks of the mighty Ashtamudi Backwaters.
Suni chettan …and his welcoming family own one of the little boats that is a perfect way to explore the safest spots in the area for tourist like me and my family ….the small boat owners have better understanding of the shallow and deep areas making it a nice experience for all ages alike.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the pre ordered home cooked meals with a good variety of fishes the family grows around their place.
Good food…amazingly beautiful nature and its magic…safe and unadultrated toddy …what more can one ask for…. So next time you are visiting this side…do drop in and experience the hospitality of sunil chettan and his family for a perfect ashtamudi experience…we picked up some tasty fish pickles…which is also pre orderable in bulk.
