Archana Kavi Instagram – It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since I saw my face on the big screen. Identity came into my life during one of its lowest phases. I wasn’t sure if I could do justice to it. My meds were unregulated, and I was battling my episodes. That’s when @akhilpaul_ stepped in as a director then as a friend. He stood by me, ensured I was on track with my meds, and even prayed with me on those tough days. I switched doctors, and by the time we were shooting, I didn’t have a single episode.
I’m in a much better place now, but I still don’t know if I’m ready to see my face on the big screen again. I might just stand outside like a nervous husband in a delivery room, hoping that people will love the film… and me.
My parents are flying down to Kerala to watch the film after Neelathamara. It feels like a rebirth. Fingers crossed
