Arianne Phillips Instagram – 5 years ago costume designers @cdglocal892 launched the @payequitynow committee to achieve pay parity with our fellow design department head colleagues who consistently make 1/3 more than us based on the union scale . After much advocacy , education , surveys and organizing we were able to achieve a historic pay raise that brings us in parity with our design colleagues . This is just the beginning of what we can permanently achieve in language and for our fellow guild members Assistant Costume Designers and Illustrators the door is now open . We will not go back .
