Ashley Williams Instagram – So far my house is still standing, but so many dear friends can’t say the same. At a time of extreme economic distress in LA due to shifts in entertainment industry already, these fires are a turning point for so many. I whispered messages to the guardian angels tonight with my boys: that those who are scared are safe and can feel it. That our firefighters and heroic service people who are tired right now can feel our awe and gratitude through your fatigue. That you can climb in a cozy bed soon and rest because this will be over.
One thing I keep seeing: people checking on each other. Offering their homes. Gathering bags of clothes, toys, food and sending love everywhere for people they don’t even know.
