Brittany Packnett Instagram – I’ve been watching Black women take care of each other my whole life—and especially in this season. It’s been such a beautiful reminder of our divinity.
We’ve been planning and fighting, harvesting and preparing, yes— but we’ve also been resting and planting, breathing deeply and moving slowly on purpose. We’ve been looking after our spirits and one another’s in a special way and it has been such a blessing to be in these rooms, in these calls, and in these chats over the past few months with women with whom I’ve been in community and some who are new.
In the end, nobody gon love us quite like us. @seshajoi , thank you for loving us, for honoring me and these other incredible Black women, so many of my sistercousins, and for giving us a reason to (non-alcoholically, at least for my waddling self 😂) toast our damn selves 🫶🏾. We deserve.
