Shopkeepers charging GST on prepaid vouchers are wrong. CBIC rules clearly state that prepaid vouchers are treated as ‘money’ and not goods or services, so GST should not apply.

To raise a grievance:
1. Visit the GST portal at gst.gov.in.
2. Scroll down to find the ‘Grievance Redressal Portal for GST’ link and click on it.
3. Click on ‘Report Issue’ and lodge your ‘Type of Issue/Concern’.
