I graduated college with honors and was recruited to a prestigious investment bank.
I was doggedly following the path that I thought would bring me security and success.
And then … I lost my job. 😦
My whole foundation was rocked. I had done everything “right”, and suddenly I was back where I began.
Then, I took a step back and reflected. Was I really happy on that path? Was I pursuing what I truly wanted to do or…just what I thought I should do?
That self reflection led to my epiphany to go to pastry school.
There are so many stories and lessons along the way (you can read them in my book Sweet Success!), but eventually, I created the world’s first cupcake bakery and global hit, @sprinklescupcakes. 🧁
Years later, I became a bestselling author ✍🏼 producer 🎬 keynote speaker 🎤 founder of @pizzana 🍕 and Guest Shark on @sharktankabc.🦈
Safe to say… my life plan at 25 didn’t go according to plan. The good news? It turned out even better.
