Carla Esparza Instagram – Where it all started🤼‍♀️! It is such an incredible honor to have the 1st Redondo girls wrestling tournament named after me, “The 1st Annual Carla Esparza Classic at Redondo Union High School”! It was so amazing to see all of the girls teams wrestling at this tournament🥹, when back when I wrestled, you’d be lucky to find 1 girl on a boys team.
It all started for me over 20 years ago when I took a chance and stepped on the wrestling mat for the first time and fell in love with the sport. I look forward to being apart of this tournament for years to come!!
