Chanel West Coast Instagram – 2024 was a year I will never forget. A year of many big accomplishments & even bigger losses.
1. I produced & starred in my TV show @thewestcoasthustle
2. I opened for @liltunechi in front of 15,000 people
3. I released my 4th album #CaliforniaStateOfMind
4. With that album it marked the release of my 100th song!
5. My Bowie learned to walk and talk 🤗
6. I finally lost my baby weight and got back down to 112lbs
7. I launched my jewelry line for @coastyswim
8. I bought my 2nd home, a penthouse in Miami
9. I recorded my 1st country song & shot the video for it (coming soon)
10. I lost my Dad. My twin. Half of my soul. 🥺🙏🏼♥️ And after writing all of my accomplishments that are things I spent the past 20 years working so hard towards, I realize now that none of it even matters compared to family. I’m happy my Dad got to see my tv show, and see my billboard on the same building I used to drag him to TRL at. I’m so happy he got to see me have that moment because he would film me so much as a kid and prepped me my whole life for being on camera and having my own show. I’m so happy he got to see me reach some of my proudest moments in my career. I honestly don’t feel like the same person anymore after losing my Dad but looking back on this year I see that you truly can’t have it all. God gives, but he also takes. He does both to teach you lessons. He taught me hard work pays off, staying true to my morals pays off, but ignoring your family in order to make it all happen will come back and bite you in the ass. I’m sorry for all the missed calls Dad. I will never forget all the amazing memories we made together. I will never forget this impactful year on my life: 2024 you have been WILD. 2025…..I have a feeling you’re my year. With my Dad above as my guardian angel now…..ya’ll better watch out that’s all I gotta say!
