Charlotte Nicdao Instagram – Tonight, ASIAN MALE, 60s, LEAD, my directorial debut, premieres to a sold out screening at @flickerfest 🥳 this film was an absolute labour of love made by an incredible crew, about how the screen industry is built on the strength and resilience of artists and technicians who you may never know by name.
Feeling such deep gratitude to our magnificent crew for bringing this film to life, and can’t help but think of the similarly amazing people I’ve worked with in LA – from background actors, to grips, to writers assistants, to hair stylists, to accountants, to editors – who make our industry what it is, many of whom are currently evacuated from their homes, avoiding toxic air, or, most heartbreaking of all, have lost their homes altogether.
