Debra Messing Instagram – What a special, unforgettable evening thanks to the @hadassahfoundation. I was beyond* honored to receive the Honor of Esther: Woman of Courage, Inspiration, and Commitment Award. The award is named for Queen Esther, who used her feminist voice and strong values to stand up for and save the Jewish people, demonstrating the tremendous impact that one woman can have on countless others.

The Hadassah Foundation, marking its 25th anniversary of championing gender justice, has built and nurtured a field of organizations improving the lives of women and girls throughout Israel and the U.S. Jewish community. Their $12 million in grants to more than 100 organizations expand women’s rights, elevate and empower women and girls in leadership roles, confront gender-based violence, and increase female political representation.
