“Tomorrow” from the musical “Annie” has a very special place in my heart. It was the first Broadway show I saw, and it is the reason I became an actress. 7 year old me saw all these little girls on stage singing and dancing and I turned to my mother and said, “I want to do THAT!”
My dream came true in High School when I was cast as “Annie.” I was 5’6 and Daddy Warbucks was 5’9, but it was perfect. Because I got to sing this song.
“Tomorrow” is an anthem of hope, resilience, and community-the perfect message for this Hanukkah season. Thank you to the Broadway community for shining light on this beautiful holiday, and to all our allies who sing alongside us. It matters. 🙏
