Galettes are made for people who are “not good bakers.” For people who get annoyed when they can’t perfectly crimp the edges of a pie. Or fight with pizza dough and are not making fondant cut outs for cake decorations.
The more “rustic” it looks the better and ragged edges are chic! The dough is easy, coming together with minimal ingredients and “chill” time.
