Erin Moriarty Instagram – I don’t like life quotes usually. They’re too optimistic or too pessimistic or just reductive. The only one I like, I had tattooed (and made shitty watercolors of): “the sun shone, having no alternative, on the nothing new” (William Beckett). feels relevant now: so surreal that we can lose things like houses, our favorite people, pets, and entire neighborhoods abruptly by fire one day and the world resumes the next. the mundane repetition of life that goes on in the background while your world has halted, it’s sickening. we all feel it at some point. sharing this now bc I think perspective is medicinal.
