Ever Carradine Instagram – As you all know, I’ve been out of town a lot this year, and the only reason I can go anywhere at all is because of @cobybrownmusic. He’s been holding down the fort like a boss. Managing the house, two kids at two different schools (iykyk) and an incredibly needy dog. Our son plays on two baseball teams and a club soccer team, which means practice or a game six days a week. Our daughter also plays a school sport and is a teenager with a healthy social life. Our incredibly needy dog has a sensitive belly, so he needs his food home made by us or he ends up at the vet. Shoutout to @bigskunks for the recipe. Laundry has to get done, lunches made, bedtime stories read, homework looked over.
I returned home from Canada on the eve of Winter Solstice, ready to take over the duties and give him a break, but immediately came down with the stomach flu. As I come out the other side (no pun intended) I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Having a partner that not only supports me leaving the country constantly, he does it with such grace that I don’t have to worry about what’s going on at home. He just handles it.
So this post is a shoutout to my husband, Coby, who will be getting a few extra presents under the tree this year. Lord knows he deserves them. Love you, babe. ❤️
