Gabbi Garcia Instagram – storytime at midnight 🤎 earlier tonight, after dinner, we decided to take a walk around BGC to burn some calories. while strolling past Fort Strip, we remembered seeing an IG post about it closing down—and that’s when it hit us: Ogawa, the very first place we went on a date back in 2017, was actually part of Fort Strip.
we didn’t realize it sooner because Ogawa wasn’t in the main Fort Strip area. it was in a separate building nearby, which is probably why we forgot it was part of the strip.
Ogawa has always been so sentimental to us. It’s become a tradition to go back every anniversary, order the same meals, and relive the memories of our first date. 🥺
seeing it closed broke our hearts!! we were so sad, and yes, i was crying huhu. 😢 this place holds so many special memories for us, and we really hope they reopen someday so we can celebrate there again.
