We recorded it in her living room in Los Angeles, on her couch, while her dog slept beside her. @cfwein captured it and @hushtagpaz recorded it. Gaby was flying to Guatemala that evening. My admiration for Gaby’s artistry and generosity alongside the time restraint kept me so present, so grateful. I put my song in her hands and she returned it to me fuller, more complete, more real and more beautiful.
