Gomathi Priya Instagram – I have always held great respect for Malayalam cinema and its actors. My entry into the Malayalam industry aimed to immerse me in the food, language, and natural beauty of ‘God’s own country’. Initially, I had doubts about how Malayalam fans would accept me, but you guys overwhelmed me with your response in a very short time. Although this project is a Malayalam version of my own Tamil project, I did not find it repetitive or uninteresting, as it offered a great deal of variation in modulation, attitude, and appearance. Portraying different versions of myself presented a bit of a challenge, and I invested significant effort in understanding the nuances of the Malayalam culture. I am delighted to observe that I am now recognized as Revathy wherever I go, and both the characters of Revathy and Meena hold a special place in my heart. This marks the first time I have received dual awards within a year, and I recently received an award from the Tamil industry. The warm welcome I received from the Malayalam audience through the awards for “Best New Face Female” and “Best Popular Actress” deeply touched me. I couldn’t ask for more from Malayalam fans, as you guys selected and voted for me in the “Best Popular Actress” category.
