this coming Brigids Day, which we fought so hard for.
Brigid, daughter of Dagda from Tuatha Dé Danann
(tribe of Danu) was a force of light, fire, poetry,
art, love, song and creativity.
She is the gateway to spring, life and new beginnings.
We gather to give thanks and celebrate her and all the wonderful women of Ireland that made us all.
I’m so delighted to attend this celebration again
(I’ve been to every one so far!) and join the most amazing line up of women at this special festival that is growing each year to celebrate Brigid through our wonderful culture.
