This is so surreal. 2 years working on @callofduty #blackops6 I remember my first day of work – scanning my face by hundreds of cameras & lights… and the pcap suits we wore on set… I was so excited that this would be the start of what I now can say has been nothing short of a thrilling, adventure for me, as an actor. To see these end results, makes my heart soar. 🙏🏾🙌🏾 Growing up, I never saw a lot of women in video games or women who looked like me… I can’t express how much this means to me. I was bullied terribly growing up and as a kid, I just wanted to be accepted and to fit in – to be seen like all the other cool kids in school. Well… look at us now… 😂 never thought I would get to play such a strong, no nonsense, multilayered, complex character like #sev •Turns out we have so much in common – our backstories of growing up feeling out of place, lonely, and yet a quiet fire burning within to prove to ourselves that we could be anything we wanted to be… I share this because if any of this resonates with some of you, then know that I see you! 🙌🏾🧡 I’m cheering you on to continue on your courageous journeys and tell your amazing stories that make you so special and unique! You only have one life. Live it and as my father always tells me everyday, “Love yourself.”
