Kate Bosworth Instagram – Happy Birthday to the brightest light! ✨🎈This year, we took your “bucket list” trip to Greece (a place you have wanted to visit all your life!) We went to the Acropolis in Athens! Stood atop the glittery, magical city of Santorini! (After climbing ALL those stairs!) 😅 We visited the enchanted windmills in Mykenos and we met Petros the Pelican there too 🙂 You jumped off a boat in the Aegean Sea and retained a “Mykenos souvenir” 😬 *undeterred by the injury, you calmly said, “I think I’m ready for that Prosecco now!” You finally embraced “windswept hair” as we watched the sunset at the very beautiful but VERY gusty Veranda bar, and we ate pastry after pastry after pastry, (phyllo dough and Greek honey, is there anything more delicious?! 🥐) You remarked on how you had once taken your own mother to Europe on a trip around the same age as me, and we marveled at the beauty and symmetry of life. ✨ I love you so much, mama. You are the most fun. And brave! Watching you smile in discovery, curiosity and total joy has been a great, great highlight of my life.
