Katharine McPhee Instagram – Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe how I felt watching the wildfires devastate Los Angeles, the city I’ve always called home. LA is where I grew up, where my family created countless memories, and where the foundation of my dreams was built.
To see the skies filled with smoke and flames creeping closer to the places we hold dear is truly unimaginable. My heart aches for the families who’ve lost everything and those who were forced to evacuate, not knowing if they’d have a home to return to, and for those who have already suffered such devastating losses. The bravery of the firefighters and first responders battling these flames is nothing short of heroic, and they deserve every ounce of our gratitude.
Now that I have a son, I feel an even deeper sense of community filled with love, resilience and hope here. I know that together, we will rise from this tragedy stronger than ever. Please, let’s support one another however we can—whether it’s donating, volunteering, or simply reaching out to offer kindness during this difficult time.
