We started 2024 with an 8 week trial run “living” in an Airbnb in Georgia. Within the first week we knew it was where God was calling us to. We officially made the move in May but I feel like I never announced that we legit moved? It’s kind of been a slow burn bc our house is still only like 40% done. 😅 The move to GA also marked the official launch of our Dallas home becoming a full time Airbnb (something else I feel I haven’t shared much about?), and it has been such a fun venture to take on together! Moving and home renovating DIY style has taken up MUCH of our energy this year but it didn’t stop us from spending a month traveling around Italy and Greece some trips to France, Mexico, Canada, NY, Nashville, the Bahamas, & Florida sprinkled in there. Maybe this is why our house is only 40% done? 😂 Although travel is a big part of our life, my favorite moments were the REAL life moments… My little brother got married to a woman I adore, I threw a baby shower for my best friend, my nephew learned to say “Aunt Lay Lay”, my grandma walked me through her garden and taught me how she cares for each plant, we made new friends, and we celebrated our people. 2024 also brought many personal life struggles bc sometimes life is just hard, but I will gladly take the hard times if it means I get to keep all the good, beautiful moments that make it all worth it. Thank you so much for being here and allowing me to do what I love and somehow call it work. Someone asked me recently how I deal with hate comments/messages and I realized I truly must have the best followers of girlies in the world bc I rarely see negativity on my accounts.
