“Do what brings YOU joy, without worrying about others’ opinions.”
To be honest, it’s tough to follow this for myself too. And you know what, I’ve met so many people who reek of potential to be genuinely happy doing what they love, but they hold themselves back. Why? Because they’re tooo worried about what others might think. 🫢
“That’s too much.”
“That’s too cringe.”
“That’s too different.”
“That’s not how it’s done.”
“That’s not practical.”
(I have heard these all the time)
And the list goes on.
But you know what?! People will always have opinions. It’s their JOB. But you’re NOT living their life. You’re living yours. 😅
And EVERY SINGLE MOMENT you spend worrying about their judgment is a moment stolen from your happiness, from your dreams, from the joy of being unapologetically YOU. It’s such a freeing feeling to be apologetically YOU. We must all be that!!!
So, this year, start small or GO FUCKING BIG—but start somewhere. FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION, do what gives you joy, and don’t worry about what they’re going to say.
It’s YOUR life. Own it unapologetically.
