Lucinda Williams Instagram – Chickie Wah Wah is pleased to announce another special and intimate group of shows with the legendary Louisiana-born singer and songwriter Lucinda Williams!
Lucinda Williams and her band will be back to play Chickie Wah Wah on Monday March 17th, Tuesday March 18th, Thursday March 20th and Friday March 21st.
As you may recall, we had the good fortune of hosting Lucinda and her band for 2 amazing nights last January. We were thrilled to have her and she loved being in such a small intimate venue in our state that is so close to her heart. This time it will be FOUR nights in one week! We all agreed that two nights just was not enough.
For those of you who did not make the shows last year, she kept it special and played a very different setlist each night, highlighting gems from her incomparable catalog. So if history tells us anything, if you decide to go to more than one show, you will see plenty of surprises. More exciting than anything is the fact that Lu has been working on new music – and she is hoping to debut some of it here!
The presale begins today at noon, for the fan clubs of Lucinda Williams and Chickie Wah Wah. It lasts until tomorrow when the tickets go on sale to the general public. Act fast as these tickets will not last long.
