One of the most special moments from this journey was discovering a hidden gem from my recent trip- a serene lake, just a 3-minute walk from where I stayed. We went kayaking there, It felt like my own secret haven, untouched and quiet, and completely empty as far as the eyes could see.
I was surrounded by mountains, a lake, birds singing, water softly rippling, and the kind of stillness that made me pause and listen. It felt as though time itself had stopped, and in that moment, I was completely present, with nowhere to be but here. I wish I could tuck that moment away and carry it with me forever.
Sometimes, words fail to capture a feeling, but in that space, I found home within myself.
