Pooja Bhatt Instagram – There was a time when the police would diligently patrol every bylane of Mumbai & especially Bandra.
This has become a rarity in recent times.
Local police/Beat officers are our first preventers and grass root defenders.
It is the duty of the govt and law enforcement agencies to create an Environment in which people with a criminal bent hesitate to operate.
The Beat Officer MUST act as a deterrent in preventing criminal activity.
As a diligent citizen I always report any unusual activity in my area.
We have CC TV cameras and follow all protocol to ensure we appraise and assist the establishment on the most menial but essential issues pertaining to the community,as that is our duty.
What more can we physically do?
Time for the authorities to please step up security across the city and give us answers and solutions to the countless lapses that have occurred in the recent past.
No point Indulging in this frenzy of construction activity by building towers,luxury Apts etc etc if our streets and homes are not safe. 🙏
