The drama premiered on 27th November 2024 and became an instant sensation all across South Asia due to strong performances, crisp storyline and well executed direction and production. One of the lead stars of the show Rabya Kulsoom says, “I kind of knew that either this is going to be a shut off or something that people would love instantly and relate to the characters. I am glad the latter happened”. Omer Shahzad who plays the solo male lead also stresses on the notion that the play is closer to real life. “I think Bharam is about the circle of life and karma; the highs and lows, societal norms & struggles surrounding the rich and poor”.
