Sandra Lee Instagram – “BIG NEWS!! I HAVE BEEN APPOINTED the newest member of the White House Historical Association’s Board Council (started by Jacqueline Kennedy)! IT WAS SO FUN TO BE AT The White House for the grand opening dinner of “The People’s House: A White House Experience,” which is a cutting-edge educational interactive experience – it’s like being at the White House and some ways better because you experience recreated moments in history. The incredible 3D and Digital mini-museum type experience brings to life the stories of the Executive Mansion, the people who lived in it and the people who have dedicated their careers to it. You can even see all the holiday magic recreated and some of the most meaningful meeting throughout history. Of course, I was also most enchanted by the fabrics, furniture (mostly French Empire) and flowers (The Scottish Rose Carved nearly everywhere and on everything)-DIVINE. Antique Roses adorned the tables of the lavish seated dinner hosted by President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden and was attended by esteemed members of the White House Historical Society as well as Martin Sheen (the experiences orator and most wonderfully sweet man), President LBJs daughter Luci Johnson (what a necklace she wore), President Fords daughter Susan Ford Bales (who shared moments from her childhood on our private tour together as “SHE GREW UP THERE”!-the stories, the parties, the hidden wall that remains in the White House from the fire in 1814, Wow). What a moment. What an honor. So Special Most Grateful,
