i first started writing this music waaayy back in 2020, it was lockdown and i’d moved back to the island. everyday i’d go to my piano and just write, by myself, for the first time in forevaa. and cus i had the time to fail and be bad at it, i started producing those songs too. it was an identity shifting time and one that i am so grateful for, it helped me find myself again as an artist after a rough and confusing few years of my early 20s.
‘FORGIVENESS IS MY WEAKNESS’ (ep1 that came out a few months ago) and ‘SEE YOU FOR NOW’ (this ep) are a collection of 14 songs inspired by your 20’s!!! and maturing!! and all the emotions of growing up, falling in love, falling out of love, thinking about dying and everything in between 😮💨
i can’t tell you how emo i have felt this weekend knowing that this era has come to a close… i released the first single back in 2022 and the plan was for these EPs to be yours early last year… but some behind the scene changes meant they had to sit on my hard drive a little bit longer than expected. i’m rly rly rly so happy for them to finally be out, existing together across these 2 records, as i always dreamed of. i’m grateful to you all for your patience!!
