Tiler Peck Instagram – It’s hard for me to write this, but yesterday I had to let my Cali go to a better place. Anyone who knows me, knows that the two of us were a package deal. Wherever I went, she went. She came to class and rehearsal with me every day, was my dressing roommate during shows, licked my tears through all of my low points, curled around my head the day I found out about my neck injury, and traveled the world with me. Someone once even spotted her on a plane and asked me, “Is that Cali from Ballet Now!?” I giggled and said, “Yes. They then replied, “Oh and are you the ballerina?”😂 I loved that people spotted her and felt they knew my sweet girl.
The two of us were certainly inseparable and I feel like a piece of myself and heart is now missing. She was the best dog ever; well behaved to the point you thought she was almost a human. In fact, I think she thought so too as she would look at other dogs and bark if they were misbehaving. She was definitely a lady and loved to sit with her arms crossed like a swan and her legs turned out.
I feel very grateful that she was in my life for almost 16 years and as hard as this is going to be for me, the only thing making me feel remotely better is that she is at peace and hopefully ran right to my daddy and gave him a big hug for me. My heart is breaking but I will always remember our time together ❤️
