Tiya Sircar Instagram – Closing out 2024 in magical, mystical India. Spent a glorious few days in Calcutta/Kolkata— the City of Joy— visiting family and reconnecting with my roots. Visited the holy and ancient city of Banaras/Varanasi for the first time. Experienced sunset aarti on the banks of the Ganges River. Explored Sarnath, the birthplace of Buddhism where Buddha gave his first sermon to his 5 disciples. Currently feeling pretty lucky in the princely city of Lucknow, stuffing myself with Awadhi food like a proper Nawab of Awadh. 😏 Then just a few more stops before I head home. 🇮🇳—> 🇺🇸
This past year…well, it’s been…complicated. Loss, heartache, worry, and stress (sooo much stress 🫠). But also joy, adventure, laughter, and new beginnings. Though I feel apprehensive about what 2025 may have in store for all of us, I’m wishing you all a very happy and healthy new year.
