ほぼほぼ姿が見えないのに
確実に壁の向こうにいる人々。
足音、声、銃声、煙、服、歯、灰、ブーツの血。
うっかりすると見落としそうなそれらに
気付くたびにハッとする。
直接的な表現を避けるからこそ
大いに掻き立てられる想像力。
何度でも観たい作品。

「The zone of interest」
I finally got to see the movie “The Zone of Interest.”
Even though the people weren’t on screen, they definitely were there. I was taken aback every time I noticed the various metaphors. It’s a movie I want to watch over and over again.
