We have a song out today but all we can think about is what’s happening to our city. We’re still navigating challenges with our own homes and feeling devastated by what some of our friends and neighbors are living through. Some of the people having a very challenging time are the same ones who helped us make this song and this album. We deeply respect the work they did. No artist is an island and so many talented people contribute to every single thing we do. The neighborhood where we tracked and mixed this song is still very much in danger. It needs all the resources we can gather. If listening to music for a moment seems like it would help, the song is here. It will still be here later when we are on the other side of this. Our hearts are broken and praying for a pause to all of this pain and suffering. Thank you to all the firefighters and first responders who are saving lives and saving cherished lands like Topanga Canyon.
