Amanda Palmer Instagram – How’s 2025 so far, my loves? We are 6 days in and nobody’s stormed the castle yet so that’s good…? Me and my hair are ready to greet an ominous new year.
There is so much to be done.
I basically just took two full weeks off work so that I could focus on the kiddo and the house and our families, and now I’m getting back in the groove. The house is still coming together, the kiddo is dropped back off at school, and here we fekkkkin go.
There are some huge old art projects to finish up, huge new art projects to dig into, including some film music (!?), massive think-y essays to write, and my crowdfunding system @patreon is about to have a 10-year-anniversary-overhaul that’ll no doubt make things easier and better for me and the team and my patrons, so that’s exciting.
Also about to finally crack into writing a couple new books and focus on perfecting the future of The @DresdenDolls and the music we have been workin on for years. I also gotta finish booking the summer and camp and all that. And I gotta write a killer speech for a music awards ceremony in LA at the end of the month. I think the theme is going to be about Femininity and Volume, and I’m gonna write a newspaper companion piece that goes into further depth.
