Which means, every time we drink a glass of milk, we are supporting this. If you ask us to wear leather shoes, belts or jackets – we would rather be naked because hurting animals is out of fashion. 📍Welfare for Animals in Goa @welfare_for_animals_in_goa I find it laughable when I speak to vegetarians telling me how much they love cows while they’re wearing a leather belt and drinking a cup of milk. Every year, over 80 million cows and buffaloes in India’s dairy industry are brutally exploited…pumped with hormones, chained, and forcibly impregnated until their bodies give out. And when they stop producing milk? They’re dragged to slaughter, skinned, and sold as cheap beef and leather. Their babies? Ripped away, starved, or killed because their milk isn’t for them…it’s stolen for humans. But milk was never meant for us. It’s a mother’s gift to her baby, not a commodity. Our mother’s milk is for us and that is all. Oat, soy, and almond milk give us everything we need—without the blood, without the suffering. It’s time to break the cycle.
