Marcus and I met on a casual friends evening out in Itaewon, we talked music and I shared I want to make meditation-like healing songs. He was an old folk soul. I came to his studio and he poured me a cup of tea. It was called “throat tea slippery elm”. The flavor was strange and unfamiliar in the beginning but it was nice to hold onto something warm with my cold hands, it was winter after all.
