Anjelah Johnson-Reyes Instagram – My heart is with LA.
It felt weird to drive away from my home in LA to go and do shows this weekend but I had to remind myself that what I do brings joy to people and we could all use some joy right now. So grateful for everybody who came out to my shows and especially to the Eagle Mountain Casino for coordinating a donation drive where my fans were able to drop off donations for the fire victims and they came through in a major way! So many items like diapers, wipes, canned goods and clothes were donated that they had to get a semi-truck in order to deliver all the donations that they received from my show. 😭❤️ I’m so grateful to see all the support for this city that I love so much that is hurting so badly.
I have a highlight in my stories that shows different GoFundMe pages that I posted for families who need help starting over. I saw something that was really powerful that said “do for one person what you wish you could do for everyone.” If you can donate even five dollars to any GoFundMe page that you see that strikes a chord with you please do.
