August Kamp Instagram – thinking about “important dreams compendium” right now, a record of mine from 2023.

the cover is an assortment of polaroid pictures that I printed on real chemically-exposed slides of various dreams i had “photographed” using ai, my first real artistic integrating of my music with my ai work at the time.
.
i wanted videos just like this. there were no video models. i said “give it a year and a half and there will be several”.
.
now there are several. i’m lucky to be here at pika (my favorite of these models) and i’m extending my residency here.
.
i feel like if i could redo this particular record’s release with the tools currently available, “important dreams compendium” would have had an actual compendium accompanying it where every Polaroid on the cover would be a clip like this corresponding to a moment in a song
