For @ayoedebiri’s Directors Issue shoot, Luca Guadagnino wanted to pay homage to his favorite actors from the ’60s. “I especially love Sophia Loren,” he said. “And, of course, Ingrid Bergman.” Edebiri was happy to play along. “It’s truly liberating to become someone completely opposite from me,” she said. Guadagnino agreed. “You’re melancholic but fierce—like all the fantastic stars that we love.” The duo’s next creative collaboration, Guadagnino’s film, ‘After the Hunt,’ is set to be released this fall. Words can’t express how amazing and surreal it was to be at SNL50 with so many people I love and respect and admire and have done shows at in buildings that have been closed due to NYC Building Code Violations. So instead, I present to you the elusive 17 photo-long, out of order, no tag photo dump. G’bye!
