Three years ago, I walked into a Retro fitness looking to find a great trainer in Virgina. But Only God would know what would happen next .
Not only did I meet Jen, who was & IS a phenomenal trainer, but instantly I knew I met my business partner. Now? what I didn’t know- is I would also find a sister for life. 🫶🏽
Despite my little white lie of telling her that I worked for the government and had a purple or silver security clearance, (lol 🤦♀️😂 clearly she must’ve known I was lying ) something still, inside of her was curious enough to know what this blonde headed woman’s intentions really were, and she stuck with me – to find out.
Weeks later I finally “came clean” and told her I actually never worked for the government, but was trying to build and open a gym & explained I couldn’t “look” like I was “poaching employees in a competitors location.
She looked at me boldly and said, “you thought I bought that BullSh🔥T?” 😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️😂😂 and from that day on we’ve been Bonnie & Clyde in business.
Fast forward three years later, two gyms later, countless memories later, tears, joy and triumphs later… it’s clear that God’s divine timing is Perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a more hard-working, fun-loving, loud-laughing, supportive, encouraging, beautiful soul to share this WILD journey with. Watching you grow into a bad AYiZZ business woman has been by FAR the most beautiful gift of it all.
Meeting you on that random day (which I now know was not random but planned by Him🙏🏽) doing this unpredictable journey with you, is a testament to HIS favor and LOVE.
I HOPE YOU KNOW HOW CELEBRATED you are! Happiest of birthdays to you @jenna_jenna_1 here’s to more memories, more gyms, more loud tear jerking laughs, and the undeniable fact that you’re stuck with me forever! 😂
