When I joined the network as an analyst back in 2020, Joy insisted that her show was my first appearance. She is the kind of leader who insists on making space for the people coming up next to and behind her—to learn, to thrive, to flourish.
But even more than seeing people thrive, she is always and forever interested in the TRUTH thriving. She exemplifies the immortal words of sister Ida B. Wells, shining l the light of truth upon wrongs in order to correct them. That can’t ever be cancelled.
