PS Shout out to @aliciakeys for highlighting us solo #producers on this years Grammy’s. Lots has been written in my forthcoming memoir about what that took to creatively get those reigns as a teenage girl in the late 80s when the male power play was the norm. With the help of my late great Momager Diane, we took it all the way to #1 setting a world record for being the youngest artist to write, produce, and perform a #1. I hope this inspires artists of all ages to go for their dreams. I’m still the youngest female and it warms my heart to see the modern musical landscape full of powerful creative women ❣️ Keep rockin it girls 🤘🏽
And yes , that’s little me on the big screen so we can all have a “newstalgic” time to take all the feels from those days and bring them into our lives today 😌
