Georgie Henley Instagram – It’s taken me a minute to get my head around finishing this mammoth of a play. I’m so grateful to every single audience member, strangers and loved ones alike, who came to experience Toni’s story, it’s been a gift to perform for you every night. Thank you Veebs, our fearless director, who led with boundless empathy and created such a truthful and playful rehearsal space. Thank you Lola, the best stage manager, for being a guardian angel throughout the entire process. Thank you Liz for giving me the vocal tools to play every character in Toni’s story. Thank you Kit and Ciaràn for bringing Toni’s world to life. Thank you most of all to Phil for trusting me with Toni, it still feels unreal to be able to speak your words. Thank you for pushing me further than I could have dreamed was possible. Playing Toni has been the most terrifying and beautiful thrill of my career and I felt lucky every time I stepped out onstage.
